Our Pitch
Pitch A: 3 soldiers going in on a mission to find a missing key that unlocks untold secrets.
Pitch B: assassin style story where a guy who escapes prison is on the run, but has assassins looking for him.
Discuss Pitch A: The war film would be a great choice. The war story has more opportunities to fill in roles, and it will be easier to fit in a presentation. A plot revolving around war also seems really interesting, and fun to do. Compared to a story about an assassin, this would be a lot easier to produce. The war plot would also have a smoother process of editing.
Discuss Pitch B: The assassin story is also pretty good, but it would come with some flaws. The assassin story is ultimately harder to produce. Making a prison scene would be quite difficult. Without some neat editing the film would just look bland. With more experience though this plot could be possible. We do like the idea of an assassin film though.
We prefer war movies, and have more knowledge on these films. We have a better understanding of how to edit movies with action. Along with editing, we also have a better understanding of how to produce moves in the war genre. War genres have a wider range of creativity when it comes to creating the plot. War movies also tend to be popular. For our final decision we chose Pitch A: 3 soldiers going in on a mission to find a missing key that unlocks untold secrets.
